Village Hall Lottery

About the Village Hall Lottery
The Village Hall Lottery is a monthly fundraising initiative run by the Walcote Memorial Hall Committee. Its purpose is to raise essential funds for the upkeep and improvement of the hall, supporting our Building for the Future programme and ensuring the hall remains sustainable for generations to come.
How the Lottery Works
Members of the public aged 18 and over—mainly, though not exclusively, Walcote residents—are invited to purchase a numbered ball between 1 and 100. Each month, three winning numbers are drawn at random, and each winner receives a cash prize based on a share of the monthly prize pot.
All purchased balls are entered into the draw, and the stake money is split 50% to Walcote Memorial Hall and 50% distributed as prize money.
Winners are notified after the draw and will receive their prize by cheque from the Village Hall Treasurer.
Costs and Payment Options
Each numbered ball costs £5.00 per month, payable by:
- Monthly standing order, or
- Annual prepayment of £60
You are welcome to buy more than one number to increase your chances of winning.
